Purchased a straight talk IPhone XR not properly scanned at Walmart with Walmart rewards carte.

Yesterday I went into Walmart needing a new phone. I decided on a IPhone XR from directly talk. I told the cashier what I wanted. She went and got one. Scanned information technology. The total appeared on the screen with the proper noun of the item. I used my Walmart rewards card by capital letter ane to purchase it. It was approved also bought a service card. I got my receipt. And went on with my twenty-four hours. Later when I got home. I tried to activate the phone online via the straight talk website. I removed the piffling red activation menu with the IMEI and SIM menu number. Outset it ask for the IMEI number. Every time I typed it in. A fault message appeared. Saying invalid IMEI. After a few attempts. I decided to call the 1877 number. Subsequently being on hold for a while I was connected with a client service agent with very poor English language. I described the situation. She asked for the IMEI and the last iv digits of the SIM card number. After telling her. She told me the telephone wasn't activated/scanned correctly at the register. I've bought prepaid phones before. And usually they won't band up until scanned correctly in 2 places. So I found this odd. I payed for it. I have the receipt. Transaction details in my uppercase one Walmart rewards business relationship. Then anyhow. She told me I would accept to return it to the place of purchase to be correctly scanned.. And so I went back up to Walmart. Went upward to customer service. Explained the situation. Told me to take information technology back to electronics. Went to electronics and spoke with the "cellular specialist ". They called direct talk again. And was told the same thing. To re scan it. Apparently to direct talk the phone is considered stolen. The telephone can't be re scanned. It was already paid for co-ordinate to the cellular specialist. So straight talk said it's possible it was a lacking unit. And to return it if possible. So I took it back up to the front end customer service desk. Explained what had happened. So customer service started a return. When you pay with debit or credit the refund goes back to the carte. But every time she tried to refund information technology. Information technology would just say canceled. Nosotros tried cleaning the chip on the bill of fare and fifty-fifty switched registers. Still would not process a refund. I had the receipt. With the last 4 digits of the card on it. With all the item information. Then after well-nigh 25 minutes of trying. Direction just refunded me cash. And when I received the cash I tried to put information technology dorsum on the walmart rewards card it still canceled information technology. It's a Walmart carte then you're able to make payments at any Walmart. I wanted to put the coin dorsum on the carte du jour to re club online. I have no idea if it's a glitch. Or computer issues, because it was Veterans Day.. who knows? YouTube was also downwardly. And so some weird stuff was going on yesterday. I got the refund. Information technology's no big deal. Just hope it didn't lock my rewards menu upwards. Anybody else have this effect? Or similar issues with Walmart and their pre paid phones?
